About
A big black, tender-hearted comedy about Love, Loss and the Mourning After.
Oscar has made a new life in the city, escaping the tragic shadow of his small town past. He has a fiancé, a new job a fresh start.
And then a series of mysterious deaths in the family calls him back to Bowengabbie, and its bizarre festive funerals. Is Love bringing him back? Or is something more sinister at play…?
Written by Caleb Lewis, starring Bryce Youngman.

Impeccable direction… this is a very affectionate tale, told beautifully and charged with an easy humour that had the audience guffawing.

Death in Bowengabbie is a charming and at times darkly comic piece. A masterful example of “less is more.
